Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, South Korean skating champion Kim Yu-na, Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva also made Time's 100 most-influential people list.
Time ran a separate online poll that picked Iranian opposition leader Mir-Hossein Mousavi, who received more than 800,000 votes, as the winner. He is on the "heroes" section of the 100 list as well.
1. Mir-Hossein Mousavi
2. Han Han
3. Yu-Na Kim
4. Rain

It's a pretty scary day in my books when Mr. Sparkly Vampire is more influential than Barack Obama.

Malema was named alongside people such as Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray, ex-American Idol judge Paula Abdul, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan and Professional Wrestling referees as the world’s least influential people in 2010 in the magazine’s annual poll.
Malema is facing a disciplinary hearing at Luthuli House in Johannesburg today, for bringing the party into disrepute after throwing a British journalist out of a media briefing, as well as singing a struggle song that contained the words "kill the boer, kill the farmer" against ANC wishes.
Time magazine likened Malema to US vice president Joe Biden - but noted his rants were not just innocuous and silly like Biden’s. Instead, they called Malema’s comments "violent, racist and misogynist".
Rick Stengel, editor of Time magazine, said the annual list of the world’s most influential people is not about the influence of power but rather the power of influence.
He said: "It’s about individuals, men and women, who, through their ideas, through their actions, are changing the world - and mostly for the better."
A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.

That list is downright disturbring. According to that, if you want to become the most influential person in America, you should: draw cartoons, act and perhaps lose an Election

I was wondering..... why is the mouse not on that list - or Anakha? They are both highly influential (not always in a good way but it seems that wasn't a criterion)
I influence no-one! I let other items do the influencing as you will soon find out .
@ Stu I had trouble connecting the dots but Lance has only become active again once Gaga's tour seemed to finish and now this bold statement has painted a very fugly picture especially since the rumour mill started that Gaga was a hermaphrodite...

If Lancelot is Lady Gaga, then someone out there has high definition, realtime 3D hologram projection systems, he has a REALLY good makeup department
and keeps a voice modifier in his throat, OR he is like Mystique.
