"Vodacom is pleased to announce that from May 1, customers will receive between 17% and 60% more data free, on all data bundles smaller than 3GB. Most customers will receive 20% more free data, and in certain instances will be paying as little as 17c per MB."

This is pretty cool, at the moment I'm still buying pre-paid Vodacom data bundles for use in my 3G card, so that's an extra 100Mb gratis on a 500Mb bundle.

I wouldn't exactly call that 'slashing' but I guess it's a good start?

I think it's a great start too - I'm on the 2GB plan and used up this months data downloading loli hentai so I'm surfing at R2 per meg right now...
