Typical "S" model, nothing surprising. I do like the fingerprint scanning, agree that more must move in this direction.

I await the 6 next year, all new model.

So will you be holding onto the S4 awhile longer or still get the S?

I was also disappointed by this event and I see the stock market was disappointed as well. Apple's shares took a beating from that event...

Really think they missed the ball on the C however...

As for iOS 7 I will wait for the jailbreak before updating ;).

I havent exactly seen iOS7 available yet. Been trying to see if it was there for the past 2 days. Nothing.

It will be released officially on the 18th, but you can download it off Mega right now: http://lifehacker.com/how-to-upgrade-to ... 1288208215

No syncing with iTunes until we get version 11.1 though.

Happy with my S4.

7 hours of iOS 7 and I'm already feeling the same as I did with windows 8. Not to mention that my phone is at 20% battery life ...from 2 days down to 9 hours? Seriously?

Settings > General > background App Refresh. OFF. Does that help?

I found a guide that told of a few things I can change. Yesterday was a massive waste of battery life and when I plugged in my charger it complained that it could not be verified (apple charger not working on apple products? D: ).

Today I'm down 2% and its 3 hours later.

Ja, it certainly sucks battery life. I've read a few people who've had issues with unofficial chargers. I haven't experienced it yet, but it's common enough to be a noted problem.

Problem is even with the official charger it is giving crap saying its not varified. Ok well end of day 2 and my batery is down to in the 40%. Whatever they did it is destroying the battery life.

Despite saying on FB that I will update I have not updated yet. Why? I want JB because I love the ad blocking ability.

Well my advice is to stay clear from iOS7 for now. Having your battery die out midday is not good. Guess everyone will be bringing their chargers to work from now on.

I've had no issues on my iPad 2 so far, battery life seems the same for me.

Did you do an update or full restore? I find with a big jump like 6 to 7 a full restore where it wipes all data is best.

Feel like doing it just so I can justify buying a new iphone 5 for iOS6 still on it.

iOS 7 is a piece of *****.

Your experience is not unique:

It seems the IPhone 5 is the hardest hit. Can't you do a factory reset?

The Verizon iPhone 5 is the one there with the problem, it seems. I don't think that we have the Verizon one in SA. The other one isn't even featured in that table.

I'm okay with iOS 7 so far. It's not perfect, but it's not terrible.

Stu my iPad is considered Verizon according to Cydia and Apple and it was bought locally. I think its because of the cell radios that class your type of phone? Maybe ryan can illuminate us further?

I may be entirely wrong. I was just told when I got my first iPad, which was brought in from the States, that I must get the AT&T version if the 3G will work in SA. Never actually investigated the claim in any depth.

AT&T is GSM, so has a SIM slot, Verizon is CDMA and has no slot, so I assume ours are the same as AT&T.

I never had battery issues when running the iOS 7 beta on my iPhone 5. Try and do a full restore Starbound, or even a factory reset.
