I just download a patch that is supposed to change something in the kernel of Windows 7 so that it will recognize 4 Gig or more ram. Have any of you guys heard about something like that? I haven't installed it yet, thought I head off a problem if one exists.

Edit: It looks like it is indeed possible to use a lot more memory than just 4 Gb. Listen to what Geoff Chappell has to say.

Looks exceptionally dodgy, and definitely illegal.

If you aren't happy with PAE then go 64 bit. Hacking the windows 32 bit kernel to enable a feature is a bad idea.

Especially when you use Russian hacker written appz to do it
