This woman is driving me insane !

I started in a new position, new co about 60 days ago...
Open plan office, cubicles divided into 4 partitions, you know those desk-divider things.
Woman in the cubicle next to me is pregnant maybe 2/3 months now.
Every day for the past month I have to listen to her complaints about not feeling well "I am sooo light headed today".. every 10 mins "I feel so nauseous today"...every half hour , how she cannot carry stuff in her condition and her BF is out of town, how hungry she is now (every f-ing day at 8 , 11, at 13:00 and again before going home... then she takes out some health food and eat it after making an announcement about it hard enough for everybody to understand she is eating healthy.)

I am soooooooooooooooo f-ing irritated with the whole thing... and whats worse is once the kid is out, everything will be about that in some way... Looking forward to that.

i feel your pain... given my environment you also, (supposedly), have to make allowance for added aggro and bipolar behavior... we have 2 currently playing this self same game, to the point where they're actually berating people for the way their lunch smells...

my advice, start eating garlic flavoured sardines, blue cheese and freshly boiled cauliflower at your desk... revenge takes sacrifice...

after many years working around woman, i find it pays not to endorse snitty behavior by working around it... confront it and correct it now, or you'll only have yourself to blame later. using pregnancy as an excuse for errant social attitudes is more fairy-princess syndrome than anything else.

and before i get called bad names again, easily 60% of the mothers here manage to get through the entire process with a minimum of fuss and bother... only the attention-seeking drama queens present this behavior... :/

oh and make some microwave popcorn to eat at your desk. The fresh buttery smell is likely to get to her.

or play metal over the speakers. Its guaranteed to make her freak as i bet she only plays mozart to the parasite...

I've had hideous open-plan experiences in the past.
Earphones are a sage option, just make sure they're comfy. I made the mistake of not trying on the pair I bought and I could only wear them in 45min stints before my ears started to hurt.

Plant some rotting food in someone elses cubicle (far away), when they can't find it and start complaining about the smell, kindly offer to swap with them, conveniently removing the smelly food when you move in.
