Some Flash help/advice required

Hi Guys
I am currently busy building a website and I need to create a flash element for one of the pages. The problem: Flash has never been a particularly strong point of mine.
Put basically I need to design a user interface where you will be able to make various selections and depending on what you choose, it will then output a graphic with those elements in them. For instance if it were t-shirts, they would choose the style, colour and graphic that they wanted on that t-shirt and then it should grab those elements and output them as one image (a sleeveless red t-shirt with graphic number 5 on for instance).
Am I making sense, I've tried searching a bit but I'm not entirely sure ehat I'm looking for here. Can anyone help?
