Apparently our hosting provider installed some new stuff on the server last night that's really messed a few things up, and we're trying to resolve the problem. If you notice things on the website going up and down like a Thai Transvestite in Bangkok, that's why.

I wanted to post that I had not experienced any trouble - and it bombed on me when I hit submit

These issues are very intermittent.

so are these issues actually resolved for everyone? cos it's still taking an age for me to load pages, but i'm using the opera 10 beta for the first time today, so i'm not sure if it's that or if it's the forum.

i guess i could answer my own question by browsing with ff for a little while, couldn't i?

I used Opera 10b on the forum yesterday and it was blazingly fast. even today I get periods where it is fast. But then the hosting issues creeps in and it all grinds to a halt.
