Okay guys, this may seem like a stupid question, but bear with me. I was wondering whether a car that has a 'water bottle' can use anti-freeze liquid? For the first time in my life, I've come across a car that uses this mysterious liquid
It seems like the perfect thing to use on an older car that requires regular old H2O. Has anybody actually ever experimented with this? I know this place is swarmed with intelligent people. I'm sure there are scientists in here too!
What will antifreeze do to a 98 Tazz? I can't test this myself because my new car is still being patched up and ready... with recessions who can afford to buy from the showroom
Can one use anti-freeze/coolants on older cars?

Any car should use antifreeze. It also prevents corrosion. As well as damage to the block in extreme cold water.

Should be fine. My dad used it in his Cresida that is far older than you tazz. Also its just glycol, they used it in WW2 planes as cooling.

I've used antifreeze in my cars as far back as 1980. Not only in the winter months but in summer to, it helps with the cooling to.

Thank you all a millions times! I was a bit worried there. I just recently rejoined the forums and was waiting for an email to get sent to my inbox telling me I'd received responses to this question.
Anyway, thank you again
