You could say that...
JUSTICE, n A commodity which is a more or less adulterated condition the State sells to the citizen as a reward for his allegiance, taxes and personal service.

It is bad and good - has pluses and minuses. For FB it was a minus - for state of mind it was a plus.

Imagine. The first thread I reply to in ages.
I suppose the A word could be considered my call sign...like the batman shaddow thingy...
If it is there then I am there.
Seriously though, and this is quite an informed opinion if I may add, Alcohol is a very dangerous substance.
Beware the black dog. It will bite you when you least expect it and it could rip your life to shreads.
I say "could" because it has different effects on different people.
At the end of the day, it is a case of knowing your poison.
Ah dammit...there is the sign again...

Re: What does alcohol do to you?
I've recently discovered that I hardly get that drunk anymore so long as i dont chug the beers down like they are water or something but rather chill with my friends, the same goes for anything else, like whiskey and brandy.
but..... as pointed out by my wife my kryptonite is red Wine (actually any kinda Wine) one glass is enough to make me the drunkest person in the room and everything just goes skew after that, although it does provide from some interesting stories from my wife about what I did the night before

Re: What does alcohol do to you?
Well, I don't drink, so like some of you, alcohol does nothing to me But when I was younger and more stupid (around 15/16) I used to drink quite a lot with my friends. It did exactly what you'd expect it did to me - made me drunk.
Fortunately, though, I'm out of that childish "get drunk to party" phase and I can have a good time now with a coke in my hand

That guy that used to mod cases. Now I take photos. True story.

Helps me make virtual CDs and DVDs. Runs nicely on Windows 7 too.

Nicely put bud.
I do, still however drink. But if I have had more than two glasses of brandy and coke in a month that is a lot for me. I hardly ever drink, due to knowing full well it's effects on me.

Re: What does alcohol do to you?
Please explain how alcohol does this? I find I play pool better - but I generally don't do well on computers when under the influence.Stuart wrote:Helps me make virtual CDs and DVDs. Runs nicely on Windows 7 too.
