BMW haters. pfft!

Well if the mud clogged the wheels you could have aquaplaned. It's normally almost impossible to get a BMW to spin out on the road without doing something stupid like pulling up the handbrake. I used to drive my BMW flat out up twisty and bumpy roads (that were empty - no traffic and wide lane) and the ASC would flicker over the bumps but the car would corner like it's on rails.

Apparently they offer you an award at advanced drivers if you can get the car to spin out on the dry asphalt with all the electronics running. Someone did eventually manage but you have to do some absolutely crazy stuff.

+1.
My moms current Volvo does that. It's just cursed. If anything can go wrong, it will.
Rear right passenger window shattered while at a mates house.
Gear shaft cracked while on holiday.
Got smacked by a Golf which failed to slow down in time, in dry whether, in broad day light.
Got hit at a parking lot.
etc
Soon Google will know everything...including how to divide by zero :(
