Well in the USA I think it's around $80K for the premium model, which works out to about R810K with our current exchange rate.

lol, not really noteworthy as aus is a good few thousand miles closer to japan...... i have seen ads there for r34's which if converted are around R350k here.....

In Australia the price is said to be around A$150K, which works out to roughly R980K.

You can get a decent R33 in Aus for under AU$30K. The R34 is much more expensive and the GT-R had not some out when I was there.

You could also get an Evo IX or the Subaru WRX STi for under $40K
Which might translate into a lot when you convert it, but when you are earning dollars it's easily affordable. Not to mention the fact that their prime lending rate is half of what ours is.
