All my stuff is accounted for, except my cellphone was completely destroyed. The accident happened in the bush so not many people around. Except a few antelopes

No bones broken, I've been feeling nauseous and had a huge headache (I assume caused by concussion), my lower back is painful, both my legs and arms are sprained and my whole rib cage aches. A stone somehow got into my helmet and cut my face below the eye and in my ear. My pillow was covered in blood at the hospital and I've gone a bit deaf in that ear. Cat scans show all clear, family joke was that they were surprised to see a brain show up.

Then I'm off to fix my bike and start riding again

So the lion of KZN is a wee bit deaf in one ear? Will make sure rusty sits next to you then, he is the loud one after all :P .

Glad to hear about no bones being broken but a stone in your helmet?! That must have been one sharp stone to get in there...

Get well soon, buddy - I hope you make the meet!

I am working in the Point area on the the 26th and 27th. During the evenings and night. We can have a meet there on the pavement, just look for the armed security people and my Ranger bakkie. The reason for the bakkie is because I need it for the booze. When I have finished I go to Hops at Riverside. All welcome, especially jee, it is cold there at night.

Sorry to hear about your crash Koko - like Jamin said, hope you manage to get to the meet.

Btw, what was the eventual poll decision on the date? I can't even remember what date I voted for, let alone the final results

No, that's Cafe Gitano if I remember correctly. (Don't go there, their food is overpriced and their service is crap.)
