teh 'What's your OCD?' thread

What's our weird Obsessive Compulsive Disorder?

I've got quite a few...

I don't like it when things are not the way they should be.

Like when the telephone cord get coiled up and isn't in a 'C' or 'U' shape.

What's yours?

I'm so used to having my phone in my right pocket, that I feel a bit weird if I'm walking and it's not where it's supposed to be (or I don't feel its weight in my pocket) I stop right where I am, and check! I panic everytime it's not there. No idea why, coz I've never lost a phone or even been pick-pocketed.

Same applies to my house keys. I keep them + my Labello in my left pocket... ALWAYS!

I have a big problem with people who don't pronunce words properly.

Like I have a friend of mine who pronunces 'perfume' as 'pethume'

The sad thing is, he doesn't even have a lisp or some speech problem. He figues that's how it is.

Some people (esp. Black) say 'Itly' instead of 'Italy' claiming that's the way it's pronunced. 'Subru' instead of 'Subaru' :x

burns me up inside.

"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

I hate it when the lights, TV and radio is on and no-one is listening, in the room watching or using the light to look at something. (I hope my wife reads this...)

I'm struggling to think of one - I'm a very easygoing person, so nothing much bothers me.

I used to have mad OCD, like i needed to avoid walking on cracks in the sidewalk, etc etc etc.

One thing that was always a problem for me was the route that something took to and from a certain point. Let me explain:

Say i walked past a street light on the LEFT side, if i walk back, i have to follow the same route, i can't walk on the other side.

Fortunately i don't really have OCD type stuff anymore, it started becoming a serious irritation and i just decided one day to stop, and that was it :P
That guy that used to mod cases. Now I take photos. True story.

oooh yes... i normally walk around the house in the dark (my pc light and my Himalayan salt lamps give enough light) and seriously dislike it when my child or family are visiting and ALL the lights and tv are blazing....

mind you, like jamin huns i agree with the cake... and a smelly twa in front of me just itches my ... hands and nose?

I over think every situation (which has its ups and downs)

I also have to have my writing as neat as possible.

same here or if its areas with blocks i try and walk on every line within my maximum step range, like walking on every 2nd line in big blocked area

same with stacey also, but not odd numbers, like winamp volume must be 20,25,33,44,50 etc. something like 37 or 43 is a big no no

EDIT: also photoshop canvases must be ratio-able like 360x120 or the standard 3:4 ratio (768x1024)

there are other but cant remember them
