Battlezone

One of the best games I played (When demos was considered big when over 25mb)

I also enjoyed Battlezone, though I never finished the Soviet Campaign I did enjoy the Allies campaign thoroughly. Didn't they make a Battlezone 2?

Ye, they did. Nice game but the first has a soft spot.

dam it's difficult to remember any of the old games. Hows about a sequal to quake 1? (kinda like how quake4 was a sequal to quake2) A remake of the original alone in the dark wouldn't b unwelcome either nor would the lion king. (my favorite game on the genesis)

I dont think it was weird... The game was simple... Kill everything and everyone. I loved the levels...

I found the colours were a bit bright, I ended up with a head ache after 10 minutes of playing this... or maybe it was because I only played it when I was sick... not sure now

I to found the colours odd, and was also kinda sick when i played this ((giggles)) i played the game in 2001 while i was a student digs in pmb... and was depressed and stuff... hmm i dont have it anymore, does anyone know where it can be downloaded? its old and should be freeware by now

This reminds me of Deathtrack. One of the few racing games I enjoyed.

Syndicate Wars

I wish they'd remake Phantasy Star 4, and Raptor: Call of the Shadows.

There was another game similar to battlezone called urban assault. Also a very nice game but rather the engine that was awesome.

Problem with the porting/remake is there aren't any modern fps without a legion of bugs other than for HalfLife 2, that can also support gameplay features such as building of structures/tanks etc.


The last of these were W3D and was released under westwood trademark.

DOTT... Day of the tentacle... Nah... they don't even have to remake it... just make it run under Vista and make it available again... one of the funniest games ever made (IMO)

Thanks Hex, I also have Syndicate ((^_^)) also Mortal Combat Trilogy, but cant seem to get that one running... even in dosbox.. But i got an old machine which i am modding will install it on that..

Starcontrol 2. They could make a remake, using 3D tech for the look of the ships, but it must still essentially be a 2D shooter. Perhaps even make an editor where people can make their own ships and design their own alien species.

Pac-Man 3D FTW!

Calafonia Games would be cool as well..

I enjoyed Shadow Man a hell of alot as well.. Very cool
and unique to me.
