I usually buy her Perfume or Jewelry or something like that, but that's getting a bit overdone now. Any ideas?

Buy her something stylish. If she wears scarves and things - go and get her a real silk one, get her a mohair blanket to keep her warm if she doesn't have one.

You will need to tell us her interests if you want useful suggestions :D

A voucher for treatment at a Spa or a facial or a massage. I got that once and it is something I would never go and do for myself so I was forced to go and it was wonderful.

Great idea - we all need a little pampering now and again.

Ooh that spa thing sounds good.

As for interests, my mum enjoys sewing, she loves cooking, and she loves clothes :P

Keep the suggestions coming! :D

(i'm looking to spend no more than about R1500 or so).

Only reason I know them is because we did some of their networks.

How about a "I will not post my mom's real age on a public forum" bumper sticker. :)

I frikken lol'ed.

I bought my mom a huge mixed bunch of flowers (like a combination of 3 bunches each with quality roses) and you should have seen the smile on her face.

Other then that-I agree with the spa idea.

lol, why?

1) She'll never know
2) Nobody here gives a crap how old she is anyway

Clearly you forgot about jamin.

Do tell us what you are talking about. What about Jamin? Why is that relevant to his mother's age? Curiosity killed this cat - so do tell

Well, if something is in jamins age range, it is in danger of being hit. ;)

Does Jamin even have an age range? Thought he was an equal opportunity dude

I think I would like to go for a spa treatment. A nice massage would go down well I think.
