Folding @ Home GPU

Hi,
Thought this might add something extra. Has anyone tried Folding at Home GPU client to check stability and speed diffrence on GPU overclocks. I came with some interesting numbers but they might not be conclusive for numbers wise. But for stability (puts card under 100% load and found it stable in some overclocks but not others. Just a thought.

Are you waiting for me to catch up before you start that?
Seriously though, it would be great if you and Silentpixel can start crunching again.... That wil get team PCFormat to the 500th position waaay sooner.

Hey all
so it would seem that I have let the team down
I'm gonna be getting uncapped ADSL soon in which case I can then start folding again, but in the mean time I have registered a work pc with the Rosetta @ home project -- I couldn't get F@H working at work, so I settled for the same idea but different project.

How do you get it to run on more cores?
Seems to only be using 1 core atm...

Hello ADV4NCED.
Thank you for joining the PCF folding team!
Im assuming you are talking about the CPU client. Now then to get the client to use more than one core you have to download the SMP multicore client. The one you download will depend on the OS you are using and the procedures for each in terms of install will also differ.
Please say what OS you are using?

I'm using windows 7 x64
This the correct link I need to download the software from?
http://folding.stanford.edu/English/DownloadWinOther
What is everyone using to fold? The GPU software, the cpu software, the SMP software ?
Thanks & np, only until I read up what folding is and entails did I realize it had a pretty cool purpose behind it

The folding@home servers allocate work on the type of machine and CPU you have (If you just run the native client core) and thus your P4 will function and provide a great service. If you are in the points race, get as many as you can and link them all to our PCF team and your username (make sure its the same everytime!)
