I doubt very much a 2-stroke would get past the Euro emission controls these days.

Re: ultimate motorbikes
Apparently KTM is doing VERY well in controlling the 2-stroke emissions, and speculation has it that they might introduce something for the road soon.Screeper wrote: figures..

Re: ultimate motorbikes
Probably a photoshop bike, but rumors have started to surface again that it could be a possibility for Japan in 2009. Legit or not, it would be the most ultimate bike imoScreeper wrote:Oh my goodness! A road going 500cc two-stroke! Why was I not informed of this!
Do you have any specs on it senile?

Meh I'm sure they will but for now it remains a concept and concepts have always been a little over the top.

Pic of the 2010 Triumph Daytona 1050 - hope they don't have to change much by the time they release it. Looks beautiful.

LOL! YES! I know, it's crazy! Dad must be super rich. I almost shat myself, and my friends had this look something in the line of 'what's this idiot doing', but I couldn't care. I just stood there, looking at this machine for a while.Screeper wrote:WHAT!!!

Can't find out what the 2010 675 will look like though..

Sadly, that is only a concept, Over here.
Hopefully they don't change it a lot when they finally start production.

Re: ultimate motorbikes
I read somewhere that the plans for putting this into production are pretty slim, especially in this economical climate I think.SykomantiS wrote:Sadly, that is only a concept, Over here.

Mine.
0-100km/h in under 3 seconds, 100 - 200km/h under 6 seconds. That's 0 - 200km/h in under 10sec. And the price is a fraction of some of the bikes' posted here.

Re: ultimate motorbikes
Awesome choice dude, it was one of my options when I went looking a few weeks ago. If I didn't go for the Buell XB9SX I would probably have taken either the SV or the Z1000.GrimStoner wrote:
