Hi. I've been trying to download this anime: http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?sh ... e&aid=3433
Looked everywhere, and haven't found complete copies on torrents. And I'm not keen to download via IRC. I've been looking for quite a long time, but to no avail.

Does anyone have a link I with the full subbed series on torrent (or even direct dl)?
If someone in Durban has it on the other hand, I don't mind trading for it if there is something you might want/need.

3/1 leech ratio, this things gonna crawl. XDCC will actually go much faster, just wait and pull it after 11pm. I used Arigatou many times at good speeds.

I'll look for ddl's too.

Looks good. With it's rating many should have it so wait a bit before commiting to 8Gb.

Larch, I found that Nizk torrent as well last night, but with 31 seeds, its gonna be hard getting one 8GB torrent.
I've tried downloading a 26episode-in-1 torrent with Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (had MUCH more seeds), and after 3 months everything in it was on 50%, and I simply had to give up cause it was crawling too slowly. I got a friend in Germany to DL it and put it on his ftp in the end.
Also the sound issues worries me abit. But thanks anyways.

I think I'll take Rayne's advice and wait abit. I'm not sure what is XDCC though?
I looked at 3 of the official subbing groups listed on anidb who subbed this anime, and none of them offer torrent links. Only irc.
Then all the other random groups I found had either dead torrents, or only the last few torrents alive. The best way of downloading for me, apart from direct dl, is single torrents. That always works nicely by downloading 2 at a a time.

XDCC is when you download the file via IRC

OK, the AVI ones are mixed fansubbers - C1Anime, ANBU, C&D
The MKV ones seem to be the Nizik releases as the first episode I downloaded hashed 99.5% with the first episode on that torrent

Ill be downloading hte MKV ones from RS

Just got your PM, and thanks, but I really don't wanna mess with RS!! They never work for me, and while it says "Happy hours are now active" meaning I can download, when its off, I can never download. :'(

Anyways ANBU and C1Anime are great subbers.
Can you give me that link instead?

And I guess you saw both ep 1 of avi and of mkv. And both work well?

Looks good. With it's rating many should have it so wait a bit before commiting to 8Gb.

It is a awesome series really enjoyed it busy buying the DVD's, but I doubt any one else will Sub it been out for ages downloaded the niizk rips took me 2 weeks not issues I am a very patient man

And then there is the issue of translation as the show has huge amounts of Japanese mithos as a topic so some groups kindoff fell over trying to translate.

In the worst case scenario, if someone wants to send me the 2 dvd's with Mushishi on I could send some anime back... Although with your 4mb lines I doubt I'd find such a "partner"

I'll still wait abit before embarking on that torrent. I usually download anime together with another 384kbps friend, and that works nicely.

No, its not dual audio.
It only has a single audio track (Vorbis), a single video track (most likely H264 as you said) then .bottom and .srt subtitle files.

My mother is normally off on a Monday but always super busy with things she needs to do :-/

Well I'm in no rush to recieve them! If I try the torrent, it WILL take me months, and by then there might not even be seeders left. I'm not on an uncapped account either, I just buy a downloading account at the beginning of each month

If you don't mind doing that I'd really appreciate it big time! I'll send you my anime list to see if you want anything that is impossible to download as well.
Otherwise I could always trade Monster for Mushishi with Rayne if he's willing to dl it.

Once you dl it, if all the episodes work well, let me know.
I'm gonna find a place to upload my anime list to now, and will pm you the link once its done.

Sure thing! Actually on AnimeEden you can get all the episodes for free Direct download. But I have to pay you back somehow anyways, so I don't have a problem sending them up!

Unless Larch or Rayne wanna do a durban -> gauteng anime trade? I'll have no problem paying for shipping back up to joburg.

I watched Dragonballz, Dragonball GT and Evangelion (that one fkcd me up big time) when i was till in high school.
Then I started watching anime in 2005 when a friend gave me 80GB of stuff for my new PC. I think the first anime I watched then was Scryed, then Goldenboy.

I got lots of anime from then till 2006, but thats when things slowed down.

If you remind me next month I can come swing by "I has a laptop" with around a tb of portable storage space I usually drag around to LAN's and leech fests.

Just not know as my money matters are really tight due to everything going up
