Alrighty, got the GT and this is my first shot at overclocking. I did reach about a 1000 more last night but got a blue screen since the heat in Swaziland got to my system. But I'll try again, and again, and again...

It was on one of the PCF cover discs a while back... as for a local server that might host it, I'm not sure.

Well, you guys know that to be in the running for the frontpage etc at Futuremark, you can only use Futuremark approved WHQL-certified drivers.....

Yeh Bean, with my setup it would be very likely for me to be frontpage at Futuremark...... If I had an FX55 I would not even be close, or get close. But thanx.... Do you need to have you pc connected to the internet to submit your results at Futuremark. I'm just askin cause with AM3 you can copy the file and go to an internet cafe. ANd also, you don't need to have the full version on AM3 to submit the results.

Here's my new high

I also heard talks of AM4 that's not too far away...... Any news on that?

Im guessing youve read about that Texas overclockers show? How far were you from being invited?? Would love to see what you do with some liquid nitrogen... Amazing how they handed out those stuff for free at the show, all overclockers could use to hearts content....

Have you broken any new barriers yet?? 10 000 3dmark05?

Hi Slasher,
Mmm...could probably have attended.....if I had the money to spend :)

Anyway, have a look at the DB over at http://www.overclocking.co.za , it is the South African version of the Futuremark one......Anyone can register and post their scores, all is welcome. Makes for nice competition....

Anyway, I managed around 11k on 3dMark05, 24k on 3dM03, 38k on 3dM01 and 105k on Aq3. SuperPI millisecond version around 26.5 seconds, and PiFast something like 28.3 or so....

You can venture over and have a look.

rra is beating me in most things, by a hair, but, we are using different drivers now, and he clocks slightly higher. Any day I could beat him, or vice versa, we have the same platforms, same cpu's, gfx cards etc.

So, at least we prove that the DFI/FX/SLI combo is performing the same, provided you cool it enough. Quite a stable consistent performer.

I will prolly do some benching again in the near future, this time with some CO2 cooling (Dry-Ice) Both myself and Rra should get a significant boost in our scores, just for now it is not really worthwhile benching, it is just the 2 of us at the top, and it is quite boring....we will wait for the guys to catch up, and push us a little.

Fun anyway ;)

Br,
MrBean.

Well we didn't think the competition between you and Ralph was "boring"! Not for a second! Anyway, I'm getting some stuff together so (hopefully) you guys won't have to wait too long for more competition ;)
