SBSP - Yeah when do you get the new ride?
Lets see some pics of the fresh-yet-to-be-crashed bike
And i agree totally with Friggs with the servicing, especially with the 230, that bike is supposed to be very user friendly in that department so i'm sure you'll manage no probs.
Extended warranty and service plan can be thrown back in their faces, it is a money making scheme
In fact servicing was one of the biggest reasons I got ride of my road bike, the service costs were just astronomical.
You've made the right choice with the bike though, it will be great fun, i'm very jealous *drool*

There are 10 types of people in this world.
Those who understand binary and those who do not.

The finance is from MFC, I'm still arguing why i should pay R3000 deposit.Friggs wrote:So when do you fetch your new toy? got all the kit yet? I see full throttle is (as usual) having massive sale to make some space for new stock, still wanna go check it out.
R3000 is not much but it still hurts and i can do way better things with it than spending it on a deposit. Like buying kit. Will keep you updated
Edit: Man they wont bite!
I dont have 3K
Looks like i'm going to sell my PS3
Can someone please help me find the post i made in the for sale section about a PS3 its not there anymore ??

What I can also ad KTM yes pricy but very nice bike my friend has a KTM 125 and I have a kawasaki 125 and the KTM is the faster one between us. But you pay for that. The 230 is a very good choice the only things I don't like about them are no disk brakes at the back and they also don;t have upside down shocks. But I sure one can manage with that.
PS let us know how when you get you bike.
BTW where do you live?

post a pic!!!
Will probably be a while, he must be struggling to get off his new toy!!
P.S A pick of my bike so long
Parked next to the Sani Pass road in the Drakensberg mountains!
Just saw something interesting now, if you click on the pic the page loads and under the pic it tells you it was hot with a W800i... How the heck does the website pick that up? Quite impressive!

Definitely, weekends during holiday time was insane! I was working at the Sani Pass Hotel so I'd see all the traffic going up and down the whole day. Then Thaba tours (a local tour opperator) would come and collect a hundred or so guests and a huge convoy of vehicles would go up. Would hate to do it with lots of traffic, much nicer to go in off peak when there's just a few other vehicles going up and down.Screeper wrote:Nice to see a bike getting used properly.
That Sani Pass trip is great fun. Although it is getting very busy these days.

I have some experience (read I can ride and change gears :p)
Reason for buy a proper quad is that I don't want to start on a smaller one only to find out 3 months down the line that I want more power and need to spend more money.
Rode a 400 Suzuki over the weekend and it was pretty strong but I can get a great deal on the 650.
