*sigh* Couldn't see the Bulls game (at-work) and couldn't listen to the game (stoopid cricket)... so I got a live update on the net... from the Supersport site it sounds as if the ref. was a bit biast... any thruth to this (and no, I am not looking for excuses, even though the Bulls lost they still played a damn good game against a damn good team!)

I also missed the game. Just read' the SuperSport description of the game and I hope that ref was playing fair because these kind of things make me angry.

When is that refs next game in SA? We will get him like we got Spreadberry

well, I watched the game. And i don't give a crap what the rest of you say, but those two tries of the blues are NOT legal.

First try. He didn't ground the ball in the first movement, was held, and then turned over, LOST the ball, and then got pressure on it. Now even the blues walked back to the try line while they waited for the decision from the TV ref. AND the commentators said that that is not a try.

Second try. Look at spies (think it was him) standing next to the ruck covering the short side. Then a Blues player comes FLYING around, and rucks Spies. I mean, first of, spies wasn't even PART of the ruck, AND that guy came in from the side as he took spies out. Then the nr 2 picks up the ball, strolls past Spies that is being obstructed, and scores a try. Ref, you FAIL.

Another thing. Why is it that our players are allowed to get tackled in the air, but not other way around. I fail to see ANY part of Habana even touching the ground as he got tackled. That, is a penalty which we didn't get. Ref, YOU FAIL!

Oh, another thing, WHY is it that when we NEED the 3 points that we go for the try and vice versa??

Another thing, HABANA JOU DORING!!! Geez, best game I have seen from him in a long time.

How the **** do you explain this game?

How can we dominate the first half and then do absolutely NOTHING in the second half??

No way Bulls. Ludeke's gonna hear from loftus when he gets back that's for certain.

Sorry to hear DarkRanger. :(

But it's not the year for the bulls. Look, I hate the bulls with a passion and nothing is better to revel in their defeat, but then agian, this makes SA rugby look like a joke. People overseas will be saying: "The Bulls? Defending champions? No way!"

Serves you right for stealing the Super 14 cup from us last year. :)

The Sharks on the other has been consistent from last years Super 14 and they look more like a defending champions side.

the ONLY reason you hate the Bulls so much is because we are able to say that we are defending champions. Even if we don't play like one.

I did not like the Sharks game at all, we were lucky to get the draw in the end.

Good to see a referee making mistakes that favor us for once :D

I really enjoyed the game, was very even.

I feel sorry for that referee tho, he's gonna take some serious flack for that last passage of play...

Ref, you FAIL.
Is it just me, or does this just prove my point!?
Blame the ref. Over and over. It's always the ref's fault.
Why don't the bulls just play such a good game, that the ref's decisions CAN'T make a difference to whether they win or lose?

This Sequence of quotes Proves my other point regarding Bulls Supporters...

Snap at sharks supporters for apparently acting like bulls supporters...

Oh no. The brown hits the fan...
Now the bulls are just the worst team in your eyes...

Nope, I've always hated the bulls. Since I started watching rugby.
And as for Bulls supporters (which adds to the bulls' amount of hatred)
...
I've just shown you through this series of posts why...

No hard feelings mate. ;)
Just accept it.

I found the Sharks game disappointing...they do not seem the same team they were last year. :(

I am beginning to warm to the Stormers just a bit....

Well done to the Cheetahs for FINALLY managing to win a game.

Kronos, my last post wasn't directed to you. And we (you & I) already discussed this. Why bring it up again? And besides, everybody has their loves and hates, so that post was just a little joking line. Not even the intended recipient, IcePick88, replied to it. Bet you he was smiling when he read it.

The first post you quoted me on:

Did you watch that game? I did say we played well. And I was never mad at the ref. Not once in that whole game. I just said that, because if you go read the newspapers on that specific game, everybody doubts the decisions made by the ref. And that's just how it is. Everybody makes mistakes.

Then on the praise praise brown thing:

I don't recall calling them the worst thing in my eyes? AFAIK, I just asked how do we explain what happened here? dominating first half, no game second. Never said they are the worst ever. But I have to say, we do have the worst coach. Funny that his previous team and current team make up the bottom of the log!

Sure I did praise them. But please take note: We were still busy playing the game then (take note of playing. something that we somehow neglected to do in the second half. )

So, Kronos, no hard feelings... er... mate. As was pointed out earlier, I see only some Bulls supporters congratulating the other teams. So before coming back here and posting a little 'oh i hate your team' post, rather have a bit of a chat with all of us, give your opinion on all the teams and what should be done to improve. OK, mate.

Add salt to taste ;)

FRIDAY:
======
Highlanders VS Sharks - I'm going out on a limb and picking the Highlanders. The Sharks have not impressed me this season. How much longer will there luck hold....and is young Mr Steyn going to pass the ball?

SATURDAY:
=========
Crusaders VS Lions - Crusaders to win by a country mile.
Blues VS Brumbies - Surely the Blues must win this one.....
Force VS Waratahs - oooooh could be a tight one. I'm guessing that the 'Tahs will pull through on defence.
Stormers VS Cheetahs - Go STORRRRRRRRRRRMERS!
Bulls VS Hurricanes - Hurricane to hit Tshwane

Have you been wathcing rugby this season?
The Hurricanes have only won 1 game, and that was against the wooden spoon Lions.
The Sharks beating the Blues wasn't luck.
Sure, we were lucky to come away with the draw last week, but you surely can't really believe that they are second on the log by luck, and that the Highlanders will get some magic together and beat them?
