Ok.

For what YOU want, contact Doobs. He's done a diy wc setup. You can make your own blocks. Copper plate, get it water-jetted, braze together.

Not many cases are made for wc, hence how we mod it in. Go with your idea though ;) Its got potential.

With the res, more vol = smoother temp curves, less = more fluctuations.

A rule of thumb is, less pipe = better + neater :P

When you get the plexi for your res at maizeys, just ask them for the plexi glue they sell. I think its acetylene or something. But that stuff is the best for plexi.

yeah, that's the stuff, i used to use it in the sign industry, we used to make our own lightboxes from plexi... i know it works well, but well enough to contain water??

Well I've seen some hectic industrial projects where they used acetylene. These people used it to bond the plexi pieces together but then used clear silicon to fill in the gaps.

thanks Samaya - that sounds like a really good idea...

when i do get round to doing it though, i will speak to Maizey about it as well, get their advice... 8)

hey guys

i read somewhere that guys use normal fish tank pumps in some custom DIY projects, does that work properly??? i know a pump is just a pump and you get some decent fish tank pumps out there but will it work good for pc cooling?

My question: if i build 3 large copper reservoirs out of rather large diameter copper tube, do you think i'll get enough heat transfer to avoid a radiator all together. i'm talking 10(?)cm diameter tube about 40 cm's high x3 tubes. :?:

Secondly, what should one use a high pressure pump for vs a high flow pump?

Rather just get a radiator. , High flow pump

3 res's wont do it

This is a problem. Because alot of the case i've looked at, already have 120mm fan holes all over them but not in places where i actually want a radiator. Ok, so then, my next question is, how many radiators, and if i were to use this res setup? I have a very cheap wc kit sitting in its box unused. It has a rather industrial looking rad. Its made by cool wave, are their products any good?
