Don't tell me the last pic follows the story of the manga. I'm still reading the portion where they are battling.

Great news it seems that FUNimation has acquired Claymore but that’s not all there seems to be a good chance that the series might be released in sets rather than the single volume format. I’m keeping my fingers crossed in the hope that it’s true because I prefer boxsets over a collection of single volume releases.

There's already 17 episodes released on DVD. The boxset will follow after the last volume only as usual.

Those DVDs from what Region are they and from what company ?
The reason why I’m asking is because FUNimation’s acquisition of Claymore was announced in the last 24 hours and FUNimation is supposed to be the Region 1 distributor of the anime series.

No, #77 still being the last volume out. #78 will be interesting though...

Btw,

Eating a Yoma would not make him one.

Hmm, ok.
Now im not sure if I wanna ask what will make him a Claymore or not...I wanna know...but dont wanna spoil the series for myself :? :x :?

It will not be spoiling it at all. You, me and everyone else who watched it knew straight off the bat - The organization has to either implant (a) the flesh of a Yoma or (b) the flesh of a fellow Claymore hybrid within him.

I found a wealth of information from translated data books btw. Data books will be the notes the organization themselves keep on their warriors, not revealed in either anime or manga. Wanna know?

Ok, but when you say implant...what exactly would need to be done to implant it? How would they do that?

Thoes data books sound interesting!!

Ok I'll post the base stats. It's interesting to know but I'll blank it out so as not to spoil it for others still to watch the anime or read the manga.

The only stats I'm truly interested in is Riful's and Miata's. Would love to see a fight between these two. Maybe Riful should kill off Clarise in front of Miata to really push her over the edge. There's something weird going on for the youngest warriors to be the strongest we've not been made aware of yet.

Info from the data books are not disclosed in either anime nor manga.

Btw I read the manga from the start again a while back. There are quite a few scenes which played our diffirent from the anime so if your gonna start then might as well start from volume 1.

Alrighty.

Though there is something puzzling me...

I'm not sure what to make of the organization... If possible I would appreciate a few thoughts. Specifically, I need you manga readers to pay attention to the discussion between Reubel, Jean and Clare right after the Riful arc. Or rather, to be exact, look at page 15, Volume 9 Chaper 15, The War In The North [1]. On this note you would do well to note the discussion between Teresa and her handler, pages 7 and 9, Volume 3, Chapter 12, Teresa Of The Faint Smile [1]. I am pointing out these scenes as they were also shown in the anime. There are more I noted but I'll leave it at that for now. In general the anime painted a very naive pircture of how we were led to believe beings called Claymores came to be.

Now, although it is not spoiling anything for sole anime watchers, let me rather blank the following -

You did note the organization's members do not age right? They are generations old.

Secondly, from what you've seen, who in your opinions is the strongest being in the Claymore universe? In the battle between Teresa and Priscilla, Irene noted that one's Yoki greatly surpasses the other. Who do you think that was? Before coming to a conclusion like I first did though, read the Extra Scene, Volume 1 first.

Anyways, like I noted somwehere else, the manga's been running 7 years now and it's still not concluded. The chances of a second anime season thus, sadly, slim.

Oooo, nice pose.

Between Teresa and Priscilla I wagered on Teresa. Only her eyes changed and she was dealing some serious damage to Priscilla who was almost completely transformed and I suppose Teresa's death resulted from a moment of weakness and/or she let her guard down.
(btw that was a clean slice. Notice how Teresa's hair was still intact. Definitely an animation balls up.)
