One word for this anime:
c'est magnifique!!!
Just watched the tragic episode where young Clare lost everything.

What's going on with the manga? The last release was 2 weeks ago.

This show was great.
I felt that the climax of the story was the death of teresa. Everything after that was an elaborate design of the story of Clare, which was excellent, but, after the Simba episodes it went downhill.
This needs another season but I hear it's unlikely as Japan does not have a large enough Claymore fanbase. I've got my thumbs crossed though!
btw, does the manga continue the story or is a more meatier version of the Claymore anime?
If it does continue it, from which chapter does it do so?

Start the manga at chapter 59 now.
Everything after Clares fight against Rigaldo is a continuation. The anime took a diffirent route thereafter towards a close.

Alicia is number 1 in the organization. Even in the anime Miria gave reference to her in episode number 11, The Slashers : Part 3. In the manga she is still number 1 at present.
She has now been completed . Just wait 'till you see her...

Manga is awesome. It's the first time I'm actually enjoying a manga with no screwing in it.

It would be sweet if something's in the works. Though they kinda messed-up the original plot due to the anime ending they still left plenty of headroom to flow into the original again.
Btw do you know something about the manga's release schedule? It's almost a month since chapter 76 went up.

I really hope there is a 2nd season of Claymore and they manage to get it back onto the original plot!
Apparently the Claymore mangas are released once a month? not 100% sure, thats just what I heard from a friend

Yeah they get released at that time in Japan but it depends on the scanlation teams when they translate it.

The pace is only starting to pick up now. Nice stitching together of events.
And geez, ep 8 was gory and very sad.

Awakening. You've not seen anything yet, though I'll admit Teresa was the stories sweetheart.
