Visual Basic Exress Edition - Limitations

Hi all,

We have a relitavely small application that needs regular maintenance, but on a small scale. It was written in VB.Net (2.0) using VS.Net 2005. The maintenance work must now be done by me, but we have no additional VS2005 licenses, so the best thing to do, according to me, is to use VB.Net express edition.

Is there any legal limitations to what you can, and cannot do, enterprise wise, with VS Express?

Is it legal to use VS Express in a professional orginisation?

Any input appreciated

The only limit is features. According to their website you can develop commercial application with the Express Editions without having to get any licenses.

No, it means there is no limitations to what you do with any application that you write....

The licensing part means that you don't have to purchase anything from Microsoft....
