so true so true... some of the dubs don't express the correct fellin... the y always sound tired... but you can always feel in the tone off thier voice that
the are not feelin the lines they are sayin.... but i think it also has to do with culture because one can't fully understand other peoples culture or customs unless they have experienced it first hand....

But the thing a love about watchin dubs is that u learn new language ,
and some times you even know how to translate a sentance in japanese before the actual translations is shown below the screen

UPDATE:
I checked animax's global website and they employ voice actors to dub the anime series for whatever region they broadcast it in...

it would make sense because when I watched animax in malaysia a few months back it wasn't in japanese, that was for sure...

this is not good...

i watch very little tv... then i discovered the C&I channel - so my reading time and surfing time now has a third contender... and now this... i think i'm going on early retirement... *g*

Sometimes english does sound better. I prefer the english Evangelion but those minutes of nothingness are boring in both dubbed and undubbed versions

If its for 18 or older then I do fear that they are going to show heavy porn snuff or undless blood and guts crap. I would really like to see robotech, Tri-gun, cowboy beebop and full metal alchemist on the channel. But that remains to be seen.

that the masses will get the totally wrong impression of anime, refuse to watch it and then anime will remain the niche entertainment it is?

@Rayne: They will probably cut out the nudity by reanimating over... they did that for the western tv's version of dragon ball z (yes back in the day I used to watch it) where they cut out the parts where goku's clothes were ripped off (and that wasn't even serious nudity...)

nope, 1... from the guide it shows it already starting tomorrow...

if it wrong I am gonna be highly p'd off, but if not then my schedule for tomorrow will most likely, if I enjoy the dubs, be:

only 1 thing kinda good coming from this channel and that is, it is making me burn to watch some anime again... plus that it gives you a preview of how some of the series I haven't seen is so I can actually watch them...

nah, the voices in Tenjo sucked... also check that Gundam SEED sommer started off on episode 18 I think

Trinity Blood looked cool so that is one I will be watching soon on subtitled version... The .hack's also didn't look too bad...

A decent lineup of shows but dubs....
They're not bad but once you've been on subs for so long it just doesn't cut it.
I suppose newcomers would fit in just fine....
