Hell no. SA live is a piece of crap. I just created a UK account. They havent asked me for proof of residence so I just created one. All the content for XBL House Party got cancelled 4 days before the launch. I see no reason to support a product which is 1.5x the price with none of the content. UK live is the base line for SA live. All of that content at R600 vs R400 is still acceptable. But no content and R600 not a chance in hell.

If Microsoft feels that SA live is such a waste then just say so and make SA players fall in with UK live.

:/ bloody X-box seems to pick up that I am living in the UAE... even though I created a US account I can't buy and install X-box games on demand and also can't play half of the free video content... this makes me sad about an awesome experience on the X-box...

I see mine is still set to SA. Maybe the account you created was greated as a Saudi Arabian account? Go to www.xbox.com and log in then see when your account region is set to? Check your billing address.

downloaded hard corps ..... and all i can say is ."OMFW"

for a XBLA game is epic, the production value is better than some retail games. Shadow complex in your face. However, this is for die hard side scrolling shooting fans ITS IMBA HARD

I am playing through mini ninjas at the moment, and from first impressions its a brilliant game. definatly not something ground breaking like halo, mass effector or any of the other titans, but mini ninjas is a simplified ninja gaiden for young people (not that im young). Its childish factor is somewhat amusing and the bad guys are samurai and you are a ninja what more can you ask for? not to mention because its a game with a low age restriction that doesnt make it lame for us adults. Story is cheesy but a lovable asian cheesy story with your typical asian folklore dude (i assume) with the accent narrating the story of the game, which i think is suppose to be the point. If i had to cross Kung Fu panda (the movie) with ninja gaiden you probably would end up with mini ninjas. Your characters dont talk much but when they do talk its not subtitled but they not suppose to be, they talk mainly gibberish like sims (in non story moments like during fighting and enemy grunts ect), however i have picked up some japanese lol being used as the "filler"

At the end of the day if you see this one going cheap on clearance sale or second hand for about R160/R200 definately pick it up as its worth it. Will post a proper review of it when im done

It's coming to psn in the future. Not sure when. Microsoft is good at soaking up all the multiplatform releases for an X amount of time before it gets the go ahead for other platforms. I believe the Black Ops dlc is coming to ps3 on 1 March. As for Hard Corps on PS3 it might take another month or 2.

But the game is definitely for contra fans.

I needed to replace my xbox controllers batteries. While I was at it the Wii's has been run down for a long time to so got replacement rechargeables. Wonder how long they live because I played for 6 months untill my controllers died from normal AA.

will a MS point card for SA work for a UK registered account ? (yes i know its stupid to ask but maybe someone tried it lol)

Not sure which way around the points work. Point cards might be global but Live subs might be region restricted or it is the other way around. Try www.xbox-360.co.za they should know more.
