and so, took the Xbox plunge over the weekend and got the 4GB Kinect bundle,

so now whenever I make a post, prepare yourselves for a "Newb 101" lesson in all things Xbox :D

Ok newb. First off your a noob. Why? You got ripped. You need to go buy that 250gb hdd or you will have to make a fire and bake some beans while waiting on games to load.

:P

Serious note though get the 250gb harddrive. It will make the xbox experience a better one. Install all your games and playing them from the harddrive saved me ages on loading time and will extend the life of your dvd drive. I still prefer a ps3 to an xbox though.

WHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

luckily I didn't do anything :P

if you don't pay why not hey :D

but yeah, the 250GB hdd is definitely on the list cause I was already surprised at how much was used.

I cant dis xbox 360. All I can say is I dont like it as much as ps3 and ps3 has bluray. Beyond that both system have games that performs the same then slightly the one way and slightly the other. This cross platform thing was started back in the 32-bit days with playstation and sega saturn. Look how far we have come. But it was doom that was the most ported game ever.

OK I want to know. The people that had a UK XBL account and migrated to SA XBL how do you find game accessibility? Is it less laggy than it was when you used a UK account or is it worse? And any features that you regret that you have lost?

We finally gave in and got the eggsbox. Love all the movies and games that are available on Live. Got Comic Jumper - definitely worth it and lots of fun.

But which regions live? UK or SA? Don't suppose you played any games over live yet?

That is sad. How are they expecting to attract hardcore box owners when they arent up to par?

That is the question. The rumour at the moment is the marketplace should be in sync with the US/UK one by March. It's all to do with fpb certification. The same reason the iPhone app store doesn't have games either. They need to rate all games in the country.

Just slap on a restriction. If its 15 in US/UK its 18 here and keep the rest as is.

The lack of features for X-box if your not in the US (and it seems UK) is so frustrating... other than that I <3 my 360... (now if my wife will hurry up and finish Fable 3 I can also give it a go)
