spam king dethroned? (not PCF related)

Robert Soloway, 27, was arrested in Seattle, Washington, a week after being indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of identity theft, money laundering, and mail, wire, and e-mail fraud.

Soloway is accused of using "botnets," networks of computers, to disguise where e-mail originated and of forging return addresses of real people or businesses that wound up blamed for unwanted mailings.
If convicted as charged, Soloway will face a maximum sentence of more than 65 years in prison and a fine of 250,000 dollars.

on the other hand.... what sort of 'spam king' only manages to squirrel away enough to pay a wopping 250k fine?... something smells piscine...

The moment I saw the title of this thread I thought PCF related...
OnlyOneKenobi dethroned by Tribble was what I was picturing... At over 50 posts per day, it was my obvious guess...
Considering his money laundering and fraud, this guy should be able to easily pay his 250k fine...
They should up it to a million, or sell everything he owns and use that... Then burn his fingers and lock him in a cell with millions of postal envelopes filled with spam... Imagine all the paper-cuts he will get...

I think the whole of PCF forums should be arrested
Apparently reports have shown that this hasn't really stopped spam... it's still growing everyday. unfortunately. Is it me, or am I special that I get about 1 spam message per fortnight?
