Wedding bells !!

Post by Sojourn »

Howsit people of the south.

I will be getting married Saturday the 23rd of June. 8O
Can't wait for it to be over with. I hate the limelight at parties / functions.
This is one I will just have to endure, I guess. 8O

Thread is now open for condolences, flames and taunts.

Sojourn - Im planning on end next year, and would love for it to just be a sign a piece of paper in a corner. Also hate the limelight idea...

But yeah, condolences as well as congrats... Big step, but should be worthwhile I believe...

I got married on 21 August 2004. It was the day that the Boks played the Aussies in final, deciding match of the Tri Nations. (Remember, the one we eventually won a few years ago?) I have never seen a wedding reception clear out as quickly as ours did. Just before game time, there was a mass exodus. Which was cool, 'cos I got to watch the delayed game later that night! :D

Please hand your balls in at the door.

They may be returned to you when you leave, depending on how much you pissed her off ;)

congrats....nothing to worry about...just say the magic words when prompted, and you'll have a great day.

Aahh so she did catch you! Huggles huns... remember that winter weddings can be great! Remember to always cherish her, no matter what.. to always put a fresh rose on her pillow to surprise her... to bring her breakfast in bed...and not to give up everything you are...
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

Nah, don't always put a rose on her pillow to suprise her...it ceases to be a suprise, but do it often enough to keep her excited about getting one...

Something better than watching SA win the Tri Nations? I'm lost: what exactly did you have in mind? :?

Actually, the wife first wanted to unwrap presents, etc. before anything else. There were enough presents to unwrap an cards to read to last the whole game.

Congratulations. I hope that is is a wonderful day, one that you will remember forever. All my hubby remembers is that there was no vegetarian food at our own wedding. For some reason they thought we ate chicken and fish - so everything was filled with either

It is her special day - make it about her if you don't like the limelight.
