Great moms love great kids
Being a Mom is like going to the dentists.... having that little baby put into your hands can create a fear equal to the thought of the dentists, the pain of birth, the pain when you have to watch them on their first bicycle, knowing they are going to fall but only clutching the Tea tree bottle and cotton wool tightly in your hands.. watching them go on their first date... knowing their hearts are going to be broken... but lying awake in bed trying to think of good things... like the dark chocolate pecan nut cluster that you will enjoy in the morning....
That pain is ephemeral, because the joy afterwards make up for so much more.
To all you guys, make sure that not only your mom, but also your wife, even though she is not a mother, are spoiled rotten - every day of her life.
