I just wish you car heads (most of you) will stop wasting money on comparing who's car is the fastest, and instead get some damn spelling and grammar lessons.

True true! im with you on that! I cant spell to save my life. but I DO know a thing or two about certain topics... BUT at the same time if you have half a brain, it takes about five minutes to download Firefox and install the spell checker... grammar might still be a bit dodge but at least the spelling is right, and it takes 2 seconds!

/on topic

Fastest iv been in a car was 225 in my dads old Audi A3 1.8T
fastest on a bike was about 215! I was chasing this Ford Focus ST down on the highway (on my dads GSR-600!!! naked bike, nearly pulled my head off!!) and when i looked down at the speedo i was pulling 215!!! I couldnt go any faster though(event though the bike was still pulling hard...) cause i had no nice fairing to hide behind... (try sticking your head out the window at 200+ lol..)

240/250 km/h (only once) heading towards durban for job interview, and followed behind black cars with flashing blue lights... so they get the camera, not me ((giggles)), but they did much in there effort to try and rid me, but i was in synch with there moves, thanks to PC games which taught me the skill, serious.

In my father's mercedes, sorry dont know engine specs...the car's max speed is 250... ((giggles)) takes a while to get that speed, once at that speed... have to keep it there, Steep hills it slows down... but it was on the freeway. But one thing i found odd about the car, it has an excelerator button/switch on the one indicator knob sticking out of the stearing wheel. I used this...

 damn germans are at it again! Zana, that is the cruise control switch, you use it to set the car at whatever speed you want (like 120, 250 etc) and then it will keep it there automatically. This way you don't have to keep your foot on the accelerator, and you don't speed.

lol ((giggles)) , oh so thats what it is ah... thanks, may come in handy when there are speed limits and lots of piggies (image of police from Duke Nukem in mind) on the side of the road ((giggles)) no wonder why it helped "keeping up" with those odd cars. I did use it and did not know what it did actualy.. lol
