Uninstalling the av prog Norton anti virus and installing a new one not yet decided which one i should install might as well get expert advice on that, one problem i have unanswered is what happens to the viruses that are in quarantine once i uninstall the av... [/code][/list]

Just format.
After uninstalling Norton, chances are good you'll probably need to anyway.
And why didn't you delete it yet?

If I remember correctly, you will be asked if you want to delete the items during the uninstallation.
