I decided to no longer upload the crap I've done when bored. I think its about time I upload my REAL pieces of art. (you know, the ones that takes days to complete)

Downloaded Falken-Sensation White yesterday afternoon.
Ark.
Some good work here. I have tried dabbling in FL Studio [well, the demo version] and Magix Music Maker 2005 Silver and I don't come anywhere close, though I can appreciate the amount of work-not to mention the skill required to produce these mixes.

Ok none of the links are working? I cant seem to get any of the tracks? Different file hosts? Now does anyone else here think there should be a separate place/ forum/ thread on PCF to talk about your favourite trance music, DJs, producing, mixing, various software and so forth, basically anything to do with trance?
Lastly I would endorse OGG Vorbis but how many stand alone/ portable players are there for this format?
ARGHH!!! 160kbps die... That bitrate is horrible! I have a hard time with 192k CBR at times, and that should be bare minimum! If you want the best quality at a reasonable file size it's VBR MP3 somewhere around 192k~ or use LAME with the -h -V2 setting!Bobendren wrote:synthetix, please would you reduce the bit rate of your songs. I think 160kbps is decent enough.
And if people really want to listen to them in all their 320kbps of glory, then they can PM you.

Lol... I did buy decent sound by going with the following...jamin_za wrote:Then buy a decent sound setup, or shout Ears of the wolf before playing music.Xiphan wrote:I have a hard time with 192k CBR at times
192K is fine.
SONY MDR-XD300:
I know they're not Senheiser... but they're actually far better than the 2.1 system I was using previously (cost me more too! )
The sound in these Headphones is amazing! In fact with my 2.1 system I never used to notice the bad quality of low bitrate mp3s because the sound was dulled out by the poor frequency range, however these headphones have a phenomenal frequency range of 8 to 25,000 Hz, well at least that's what I'm assuming is the reason for the clarity that I get with these HPs? But when listening to mp3s at 128k CBR I notice the lossyness and trust me it ain't nice!

If you click on the link I provided ( www.myspace.com/falken01 ), just wait for the player to load on my profile. It automatically starts playing the last track I uploaded and you also have the option to download.Xiphan wrote:Ok none of the links are working? I cant seem to get any of the tracks? Anyway, I have found all the faults in "The Light to my Dark" and I resumed work on it, but I still need crit on "Fallen Behind". Remember guys, honest comment is useful crit
@ Sythetix and Mikdog (If they're still here) - When you guys uploading more tunes?

I found the midi file of this song while looking for songs to practice on my keyboard. Have been wanting to do a dance version of it for while. There's one done by Kaylia, called Ritual Tibetan, as well i think. It's not really a full song as it's lacking a bridge, but it sounds cool.
