"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

Stunning pics
Re: The official cat thread.....56k warning Fat format
I promised Tribble I'd post pics of our two adopted cats. Please note that both names were given by the redhead.
Kitty adopted us when we moved into a townhouse around a year ago. The vet tells us she's a Russian Blue. We suspect she's former KGB. She started coming to our yard and we would pet her outside, but I figured she must belong to someone else. My wife felt differently, and one day I came home to find a cat bed, cat box and cat food sitting in the kitchen. This is the only half-decent photo I have of her at hand.
Tinkerbell kept taking refuge at the church, and when I told my wife she told me to bring her home. This was two weeks ago today. We first spotted Tinkerbell when she charged through the auditorium, past the pulpit, and behind stage while our pastor was preaching a funeral service. We put her outside, only to find her back later, and more of the same for a few days. She's now content at our house.
I am also happy to report that we do in fact have a REAL pet. (Sorry for off topic.) She, in fact, is the only one for whom we paid any money, and the only one whom we set out intentionally to purchase. This was before the redhead was even a twinkle in our eyes, so Princess received her name from my wife. (My wife also does not believe that Spaniels are meant to have long hair, so excuse the haircut. She is thoroughbred. The dog, that is, not my wife.)
Princess and Kitty get along fine.
Tinkerbell is starting to get used to the others, but she still hisses and spits and swats at Kitty and Princess if they come too near. Princess desperately wants to play with Tinkerbell, but she's not going for it quite yet.

Re: The official cat thread.....56k warning Fat format
@Mousey - they are lovely cats. You are absolutely blessed. Kitty looks like my late Cleo. She was a Russian blue too (could also be a British blue). It is lovely that generally one of the cats likes dogs. When we had our old Boxers (Kes and Kyra), Keiko loved Kes and they would sleep outside on the porch together. Not we have Kirk and Hoshi and Astro seems to like Kirk. When Kirk comes in at night, she will go and rub herself against him before he lies down. Perhaps a budding friendship.

Tinkerbell came home at 23:30 last night while I was watching cricket. Princess was sleeping in her bed on the floor. Tinkerbell saw her, crouched, stalked, and pounced on her. Poor dog got such a fright she ran crying to the bedroom. When I got there later she was asleep on our bed next to my wife.

Actually, I think the Mansons moved in next door. We've had some fun with our friendly new neighbours.
