Getting 3ds max 7 running w/out IE6

I've got 3ds Max 7.0, and I want to use it (duh!), but I DON'T want IE 6. When I try to install it, it tells me that I need IE6. Why? For the documentation? I don't need the documentation! I JUST WANT THE PROGRAM WITHOUT IE6! Can anyone help? Can I fool it into thinking that I have IE6?
