viceroy, you right, my mistake. Mustang was first SINGLE prop plane to break the 600km/h barrier.
are you sure about the mosquito coming out before it though? I thought the mosquito came out after WWII?

cool...it just seems to me that it was very obscure. You always hear about the Spitfire, mustang, Zero, typhoon, BF109, hellcat, Lightning, Huricane, even the thunderbolt but nothing much about the mosquito. Maybe cos it served more in a ground attack role than as a fighter...

Yeah it was more of a light bomber, but it used to go un escorted due to its speed and handlingGreyWolf wrote:cool...it just seems to me that it was very obscure. Turning in diffirent directions. It won't need a tail rotor because of this which in turn will make it more quite. You don't get rotor slap-> normally when a chopper banks into a turn the air from the top rotor "crashes" with the air from the tail rotor which creates that takatakatakatakataka sounds.......waiting for people to start ROLF.PypLaCe wrote:That chopper has 2 roters!!!!! 8O
And the ammount of ammo that thing can take is just crazy!
...Ill take one!

Lee Mercer (Angel): This is getting ridiculous. The first assassin kills the second assassin sent to kill the first assassin, who didnt assassinate anyone until we hired the second assassin to assassinate her.

I know what you are talking about bru.SquattingDog wrote:.......waiting for people to start ROLF.
Also, the two blades have to be counter-rotating. The KA50 can do flat turns at any speed where as copters with tail rotors or would have to bank sharply, costing them vital airspeed.
The two rotors also reduce inertia by almost 200%
Demoraliser: I had to google for this, but:
Airwolf is a slightly modified Bell-222 helicopter.
The modifications are all aesthetic though.
In the series, airwolf was a Mach 1+ copter with a jet engine and more firepower than a destroyer....
