To all new readers. If you don't feel like reading through all the pages (Although I advise it) Visit Project: Carbon P180 to see the shortened, blog like version. And please post all your comments in this thread.

Hey guys, i'm gonna start a mod on my Antec P180, it's been stock for long enough!

I want to mod it to fit my Watercooling (WC), so it's not gonna be anything major, but i'm busy with another case, that one is a bit bigger...

Here is a few shots of the case, and a scetch to show how i want to fit my WC.

*REMOVED THE IMAGES*

Here's the latest shot available of the case:

I think it's looking great, be patient with that panel, you don't wanna be making mistakes on a side panel as nice as that one. Good luck bud!

Here it is...

The rough cut: (serius filing to be done!)

This must be the straightest cut I have ever made!

The finished cut (what do you guys (MrBean) think??)

So far so good, getting my Rad on thursday, hopefully!

Cool so far.

Just one question.

What are you gonna do with all the space in the bottom?
You're putting the pump and rad in the top part of the case, while there's all that space downstairs.

I think he's putting the res at the bottom.

But there's much more space than just for the res.

No, actullay there is too little space below look, the HDD cage takes up a lot of space and so does the PSU and it's cables

Look, it doesn't HAVE to look bad, if you can mount it nicely and do a good job, it can look awesome! Ask Carly for a pic of his rad, he mounted his TRIPLE rad on top of his case and it looks very very good.

Good luck buddy, seriously. I'm gonna build my new Gigabyte case tomorrow, see if my rad will fit inside. I hope it does, wish me luck.

Dude I haven't totally folowed your modding session but if the rad is too big for the inside why don't you do the mr.b thing and cut a hole for the rad in the top of the case? Post some pix of your problem and maybe we can all find a solution for your predicament...

Hey I don't wanna be rude or anything, but realy I save like almost a year to afford a "okay" graphics card 6600gt and here you go cut up a R1300 - R1800 worths case, so I gotta ask "WHY?"

You see, anyone can buy a "pre-modded" case, but buying a nice case and modding it yourself brings so much satisfaction.
