Ahh, so I have talked to quite a few members about this for quite a while, and it seems that everybody (including me) is either too lazy or too busy to organise this, but most people want it to happen.
jee told me a week ago, that she rates it would be best sometime late in January... I agree. Most people are going on holiday during the christmas and new years period, and some people tell me they need a week to recover from new years
, then school starts, etc. So making it after the 20th of January when everybody is settled and bored will be a good idea.
So people, any ideas for location, day, time, etc?
I will make it clear now, there are no guarrantees that I will make it there. My life is kinda hectic now, and I have too much to do. But I shall make an effort. I am just starting this thread for the sake of all those who would like to see a version 3.1.
Much like good 'ol Windows 3.1 (my favorite OS of all time) this meet should be a good one.

Would this be the beta version then? /me hears Windows 3.1 and cries.
I'm on holiday that weekend, 20- 22 or thereabouts and then the following weekend too, so will Bobendren, so we can't make those too weekends, but other than that it's cool.
uShaka was great, but some ppl were complaining about the prices, so next time so place a little more within budget.

Sounds good, never been to one before. Any thoughts on having it out of Dbn, say like Hillcrest, Kloof area at one of the the Meander/outdoor places?( For us hillbillies that don't know Durbs that well)

There are people who live way down the south coast, and other places... I think Durban is a nice central meeting place.

We've had 2 meets in Durbs already.
I know Rayne probably wont attend if we have it in Dbn again.
Maybe we should go down south for this meet

right... I'm in.. got sick on the day last time..
anywhere is cool for me... but i think for the majority Durban is a pretty central spot.
lets just give it a while and I (or some other mod) can make this a sticky then once the attention of the masses has been caught we can discuss a definite meeting place / time / date / dress code / theme...
