I really dont like the way this forum has turned into an anime forum, yes, that is what it has become. I am sure some other users will agree with me. So I had a thought. I set up a nice private forum for all of you so that you can discuss every little detail of every single frame of anime. I even made a nice, fresh email account. All I need is a vollenteer that will take on the admin duties. I will give you all details and passwords of both the email adress and the forum.

As a non-anime fan, I have also found a massive influx of anime topics of late and do find it a bit disconcerning.
However that's seriously not fair to the anime fans to not allow them to discuss different aspects of anime on pcformat. If they wanna discuss anime, and they do within the forum rules, they have every right to do so. I would personally prefer if there were perhaps a limited amount of them, such as the quoting one, one for different series (I don't think it's necessary for one for Bleach, Cowboy bebop, and that Neon Genesis one). It's their democratic right to discuss anime on these forums and you don't have any grounds to prevent them to continue doing so, and don't have to result to creating alternative self-propergated forums, unless they'd to have it that way. Of which I'd very much doubt. Also jee went to a lot of trouble to create them for anime-fans of the site.
Cappo having said that, I personally commend you for your action to better the forums in a rather oblique manner, but from the anime-fans perspective (of which there seem to be quite a few on these forums), it is not necessarily fair on them. Plus where are jamin & I going to post parody anime pictures then?

i remember some time ago there was a request for one but for a different section, outcome was that ppl said that it would be too cluttered but i think it could work, sort of a compromise
we can still talk anime on pcf and it's out of the way of ppl who don't like anime

and i've never seen anime on sa tv so our only supply is ordering or on pc, that IMHO makes it much more relevant to a pc forum than cooking, or even cars for that matter
