FF7: Advent children

Post by Road_Kill »

Personally, I am not a big fan of anime, well actually, I really don't like it, and technically this doesn't count as anime, but I didn't know where else to put it. Anyway, has anyone seen this movie, all I can say OMG, it's freaking brilliant. The animation, the fighting sequences, everything. I just got the DVD two days ago, but I must have watched it like 3 times already, well in sections. But honestly, it's done so well, those Japs really know what they are doing. Anyone else seen it, and feel the same?

The motorbike scene in the tunnel was pretty impressive. Has anyone else seen this movie?

I loved the final battle between Cloud and that new Sephiroth... I loved it when his sword split into those seperate swords and he attacked with each one of them... Brilliant, just brilliant...

When he seperates his sword into two when it's in the wall and then tears through everything. Man that rocked. I had one issue with the movie, I didn't really understand it so well. The subtitles moved to fast sometimes, the guy who did it, sucks.

I unfortunately had the problem of watching it with sound coming like a minute after the picture... Still watched it though and still enjoyed it...

In that case, I'll just watch the movie on Friday night... I'll play the game in the holidays if I can find a bloody copy!

for me the best part was the fact that they captured everything perfectly,
the music brings alotta memories back from FFVII,
even the dudes ring tone that battles Tifa,
i was like that sounds stupid in the movie,
then i realized it was a ringtone :)

the start where nanaki runs with his children till the part where his father died,
Bahamut doing his special directly from the Game,
i would have given it a perfect score to my opinion,
but the only thing i think was left out was the Chocobos.
for those that have not played FFVII for Playstation or PC,
u guys dunno what u are missing out,
After seeing the FFVII PS3 Tech Demo lets hope they remake it for PS3.

I loved this movie esp the bahamut fight, buy at 1 point in the movie there is a scene where the subtitles are so fast that no normal human could read it :lookround:
