Dunno if anyone heard of it!
But i can tell u guys this much it is, was, and will forever be MAL!
I got like one DvD of it up to were it got Banned!
Apparently it got to violent!
Beserk was so popular that it got a Game title on the Sega Dreamcast!
I got a few comics/manga of it but never got to read them!
O how i wish they would continue the Berserk Saga!

If you dont like anime then dont come to anime treads. It now has its own section so it doesnt invade the Chillout forum.
Cant think why it would be too violent, I mean they are selling Elfen Lied and Gantz. And to add to elfen lieds violence there is other desturbing scenes too.
I only watched the first ep of Beserk, still need to see the rest.

Berserk was quite good, very old school animation but the story is hectic, and i love the intro song...wierd hey!

but its Japanese Anime @ its best!

Trust me, get Berserk. It's one of the best I've ever seen. Realy good story, very origanal and lots of action. Yes it's violent, but there are far more violent ones out there. I first saw it after I watched LOTR, and was blown away by a fantasy animation that didn't have any orcs or hobbits in it.

Anime was good had a crappy ending tho manga is way better and u can still download the Ogm`s (Berserk 1-25 Ogm Dual Audio Anime-4Ever) just look for that on torrent sites.
Banned ? don't think so they just decided to stop it thats why u need to get the manga it only finished the other day

Been looking 4 more Berserk ever since i can rember the manga does not live up to the anime in my own opinion, only made it to the 9th volume of the manga ,if you wtch it dont watch the ogm's in english

@Rayne - I take it wasn't at GH.
You could try to search for an alternative title to Berserk and check for it on the list at BH.
Or, you need the name of the song. Run a check in the forums and hopefully it's there else your next best bet would be to kidnap a japanese speaking person and get him to get the song for you.

I cannot recall the ep as I don't have Berserk on HDD atm but the song plays when Caska and Guts argue on the edge of a cliff, then go on to spend the night together and then the morning after when they wake-up and chat the song plays again.

Hi everyone I recently bought the Berserk Box of War (episodes 1 -25) and the Berserk Graphic Novell’s volumes 1 -10. My Question is does anyone know the preferred order in which one should watch the episodes. The reason being that I’ve heard people say that they would recommend that you skip the first episode , start the series by watching episode 2 and end the series with the first episode. I would like to know is there any truth to this?

I'm pretty sure the producers wanted to keep the order of episodes the way they did. I'ld stick with it.
After you've finished you might wanna watch the first episode again or get into the manga.
