Yeah, that sux. I have been driving from Stellenbosch to East London for 3 years now, about 2 - 3 times a year and am always uber cautious on the roads. I do speed, hence my impressive collection of fines which I get reduced sometimes to nothing (haha) but I also focus extremely hard on other drivers on the road.

Pretty macabre...posting pics of a car in which someone died, but being your own boss and all

Nothing macabre about it. If you are interested in what happened you look at the pictures. I recieved them via e-mail and thought it might be of interest to other members. Plus, it's a good advert for driving safe.

If a family member of yours was killed in a car crash would you post the pics of the car on an internet forum? and in my opinion...NOTHING will make South Africans drive more safely.

Well I'm sorry if you are offended by the pictures although I really fail to understand why. And he was family. I'm a serious Bulls supporter remember? ;)

EDIT: Do you get like this when they show major bus/taxi accidents on the news as well?

I don't like seeing visuals of any accident! I think our road death statistics are shocking.

My point is that this young man died a tragic and very lonely death at the side of the road, all alone. Now we see pics of his car...all smashed in, crushed.....what a mess. so now we can see how smashed he must have been. we can begin to imagine the extent of his injuries. Do we really need to know?

Thats my opinion.

Oh....and btw....hold onto your stick and hang onto your chair.....I had never heard of him 'till the day he died.

I also find it offensive yoda. I'm being very serious here. Your intentions might be good, but I think this will be better handled if you state that you have the pic's and will supply the url to photobucket (or whatever site) on request.

I dont expect you to remove this from the site, therefor I have PM'd Cameron to intervene. Its like the accident scene and car is flaunted as some freak show to sate some hunger found in only humans.

Geez, i feel for the guys family, and i agree that wasn't the best thing for yoda to do, come come, u meant to be the mature guy here.........

I'm a bit pissed to see what that A3 did, you aren't meant to die in a car like that

My friends A4's airbag didn't deploy once when they hit a cow, he now has 2 A4's  (lawsuits rock)

Arg c'mon, get of your high horses here. You see worse accidents every day but you don't give a rat's bottom. Now all of a sudden you want to bring out the moral stick because I post some pictures of a smashed car? If it was just some random accident pics of a smashed Audi I bet you you wouldn't say a word. But I have changed it to links now, so stop whining.
