Yeah, I also used to be at the Citrusdal club (biggest in SA) and it is quite a rush, but very expensive/time-consuming...

Wolf lady...

Take or give, depending on the club, to do the First Jump SL course is about R800. That includes the first jump. After that you are on Static Line progression for about 15 to 20 odd jumps to graduate. Then there is another 7\8 jumps left in Intermidiate Skills Progression, after which you get you A license.

In AFF (Accelerated FreeFall) you have 8 to 10 jumps with docked instructors initially, after which you do ISP to get your A license. The AFF part costs between R7500 and R9000, depending on the club and instructors.

I have completed AFF now, am busy with ISP.

I have to agree with Stevo... when I went up the Eifel tower with my child i clung to the sides and did not even go near the windows... I will rather SCUBA.. its far prettier and NOT so dangerous.

Off course Mr Traveler is an adrenaline junkie... *g*
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

Firstly, its so high that it's not the same feeling as looking over a cliff and secondly, you get so charged up by the guys before the jump, that when you realize what is going on, you are already landing.
