- Arsenal: I still think Edu should've stayed at Arsenal.
- Newcastle: Scott Parker has gone to Newcastle. It was inevitable that he was gonna move. He should've stayed at Charlton in the 1st place
- Man United: Roy Carroll has signed with West Ham. And MU bring in Ed van der Sar in return? Weird...

Well this kid they're after, he's supposed to be a good prospect because Man Utd were claiming they already signed a contract with him but Chelsea were still chasing him. It also emerged that two agents acting on behalf of Chelsea were paying for this kid and some other player's education in Norway. The last I heard was that apparently they weren't doing their studies so their student visas weren't valid and now neither team can sign this prodigy. The kid also went "missing" at one stage claiming to be under too much pressure. Crazy huh?Tel wrote:I haven't heard of any Nigerian youngster that Chelski and MU were after? I actually didn't notice Newcastle's players that have gone out...It is going to be a new look team.
mmm. Some more juicy transfers...
Arsenal
- Signed Belarussion midfielder, Alexander Hleb.
- Sold goalie Stuart Taylor to Aston Villa
Chelsea
- Sold Mateja Kezman to Spanish team, Atletico Madrid.
Man United
- Bought Sout Korean International, Park Ji-Sung.
There are quite a few smaller, interesting transfers doing the rounds, but I know most of interested in the big teams.

Any more news? I'm capped again. Have Chelsea signed Shaun Wright Phillips yet? I heard Liverpool should be signing Peter Crouch from Aston Villa soon and Bayern Munich are cautious of Man Utd's interest in Michael Ballack. Ballack would be an awesome signing but I don't see it happening this season. Bayern have offered him a 3 year extension on his contract.
Some more of the more popular signings...
Blackburn Rovers: Craig Bellamy (£5 million)
Chelsea: Shaun Wright-Phillips (£21 million 8O )
Everton: Simon Davies (£3.5 million)
Liverpool: Peter Crouch (undisclosed)
Man City: Andy Cole (Free)
Newcastle: Emre (£3.8 million)
Portsmouth: Collins Mbesuma (undisclosed)
These signings are getting more interesting by the day. Chelsea are ruining the game a bit by buying anything that moves, but there are players that don't appreciate that, which is nice to see.

I read a few days ago that Inter Milan and Figo are negotiating contracts. The contract is worth 6 Million I think.
Liverpool signed Peter Crouch for 7 Million.
And Chelsea signed Asier Del Horno, not sure for how much.

Lol there has been transfer talk between Santos and Real Madrid about his transfer for a month, maybe more.halo wrote:WHAT WHEN?????? my word.... this was not expected... darn, i was hoping he was going to arsenal.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!ADV4NCED wrote:Real Madrid signed Robinho for 24Million.
IMO, I think he's overrated, I watched him playing the World cup qualifier games with Brazil, he didn't seem brilliant but I understand that he is very young and could be a promising talent.

Liverpool definitely want Figo, but Real Madrid want a fee for him. Liverpool can only afford Figo's wages, but not an additional fee.Snowflke wrote:I heard rumours that Figo wants to go to Liverpool(or Liverpool are looking to buy him). Has anybody heard anything?

Yes I'm sure he'll feature in the coming season! Any idea on how much they paid? He is really old though, I think he'll only be there for a season or two.Tel wrote:Tottenham Hotspurs have signed Edgar Davids! Now that is a big signing for Spurs.
Regarding Chelsea, why the hell are they trying to sign M Essien ??? As if they need another midfielder, I still think they need one more wordclass striker in that team and they could really be great.

IMHO its about timeTel wrote:I would never have thought about seeing one of the Neville brothers away from MU, but it has happened. Phil Neville has signed for Everton, can you believe it!
Inter Milan has finally completed the signing of Luis Figo.

I heard Chelsea finally signed Michael Essien for around 25 Million pounds, is it true?
