Re: The Series Thread
If you want to follow the timeline, watch the first 8 seasons of SG-1 first. From that point, the Atlantis storyline starts and runs in parallel with the SG-1 storyline.SykomantiS wrote:I think after this I'll tackle some Stargate. On that note, which one first? Atlantis or SG-1? I presume it does follow some sort of timeline?

@Syko: i gave no spoilers as i do not know what is going to happen in the tv series... i only know what happened in the book and as i said they are not sticking to it... as far as i can tell we should be on the 5th book... but again certain character's story line are altered for the audience's sake...

Re: The Series Thread
So Arrow started last night. I'm interested to see if it's going to be any good. I'm a little disappointed that they chose to do a Green Arrow series instead of, say, The Flash, but we shall see.
Re: The Series Thread
The first Episode of Supernatural was ok...but this must be the last season now! Especially if the story is to follow through as it is described...
Dexter (as usual) is AMAZING!
I am really enjoying a comedy/drama series at the moment titled : Go on! Starring Matthew Perry...it has a nice blend of comedy, drama and wackyness...
Loving Sons of Anarchy aswell, on the second season at the moment...
and then there are the various 14 other programs I view aswell...

Re: The Series Thread
Enjoying Revolution and Last Resort. Also Sinbad.
Re: The Series Thread
So Arrow was a decent enough start, if you ignore cheesy voice overs and a really bad sinking yacht scene. It has potential though. I reckon that this Arrow is better than Smallville's.

Revenge
There comes a time for every vampire when the idea of eternity becomes momentarily unbearable. Living in the shadows, feeding in the darkness with only your own company to keep, rots into a solitary, hollow existence.

My wife is hectically into Revenge. She was also into Ringer, which actually started getting quite interesting toward the end then, and then they cancelled it.americantsm1 wrote:Revenge

Oddly, it was like the fifth highest rated show for the network, so I'm not quite sure why it needed to be canned.
When I read about the reboot of Beauty and the Beast a few months back, having fond memories of watching Linda Hamilton as a kid, I thought it would be interesting to see what they do with it. Here is TV.com's assessment of the pilot last night:
What are the chances of a second season? It is our duty as rational thinkers to constantly compare, contrast, evaluate, quantify, and qualify every sensation or notion we experience during our brief existences in this realm. These snap judgments are not only necessary for learning and adapting to new things, it's how we develop tastes and the ability to seek out the best things. So it's good, then, that terrible things exist, because terrible things help us determine what's great. That is one good thing about Beauty and the Beast: As the undisputed worst new show of the fall season, it makes the good shows seem even better by contrast. The Vampire Diaries. Teen Wolf. And yes, The Secret Circle. But yeah, no. There is nothing else redeemable about this thing. IT IS THE WORST.

I started to watch it and I thought... wow, a show about a cop in the middle of red-neck country, how good can it be?Stuart wrote:Never watched it, but it looks like it might be interesting.GreyWolf wrote:Anyone here into "Justified"?

1. Timothy Olyphant really does a good job. This man needs more roles.
2. Walton Goggins also does a great freaking job.
3. The stories are well paced with just the right mix of drama / action / comedy.
4. Apparently, everyone in Kentucky carries a gun.
