I don't think I'll be able to make it. When a chance opens up for me, I'll try and come over.

@ZELL: It's niiiice to have....that's simply it. plus since they r 100mb larger than the normal ones, I don't download them... coz 13 eps * 100Mb = no cap :(
Everyday, I browse the forums just to make sure that there still are people more pathetic than me.

How I damn effin hate this local internet tripe of an excuse called ADSL. Anyone's used proper broadband internet. It's just pure bliss. Click. Download. Click. Download.

Although now I've got an alternative. It's not too fast but it's uncapped and really, really cheap. Although I've just discovered that I can get speeds of upto 40kb/s on bt. mwahahaha.

Although before this I used to download HQ rm's. Not much you can do with a 3gb cap.
You can find a whole bunch at:

Well, I got some more, but I'm lazy to copy and paste. I mean find them.

RealityLapse have some really good quality RM's
70 - 80MB eps that look just as goood as 170MB AVI's.
I use them to d/l anime with 100's of eps, like Naruto, Kenshin, Bleach etc.
I got GITS from them as well.

AnimeCorner is not such great quality, 40 - 60MB eps.
Plus all their files are hosted off-site. Either by AntiLeach, SaveFile or RapidShare.

Cant speak for any of the other sites.

I used to use RL. But in full earnest avi's are much better.

I agree, but the longer running anime is just too large in AVI format. When I d/l Dragon Ball for Zell it ended up taking up 29GB. Thats alot of HDD space or DVD's.
Naruto would be over 30GB if I had all 170MB AVI eps.

BTW, there is a site with better quality rm's than Rl. Forgot the place. Perhaps it's one of those links.

Eish Naruto will be a biatch... I doubt that will be givin a second look by me... That's what I like bout smaller series, is the being able to watch it over without feeling the pain of boredom...

I know ppl who'd watch DBZ over and over again. Brrr.. the agony...

Anyway, Naruto should make only one pass on the hd. It'll prob take up alot of space.

Well it looks as if I'll be getting the hd last. And I wanted to put some anime and H on there for all of you.
Hold on! I can! Since I'm the last, shouldn't I delete the common stuff on there and then put some more stuff on. It will be going back to Rayne again.
We should just keep a list of what's on the drive, so, by consent, old things can be taken off and new ones put on.

Yes status will be kept. I'll make the thread shortly. Too lazy to do it now.

We can delete as space runs out. Until then just continue filling.

Another thing that I would like maybe like, is just a small section with the codecs, for maybe proggies you guys use to watch/encode/rip/convert your stuff with... Really don't think it will take too much space...

Well Zero, maybe we can do this: This time, it will be KZN, CT, Me (PTA guys), You... Then next time we can turn round and: You, Me (PTA guys), CT, KZN... Or if any indi's would like it that maybe did not get a chance last time, we could organise it for them..

@OTC - I don't mind being last. In fact, I prefer being last. That way I get the most comprehensive amont (actually Rayne does cos I'll put my stuff on, then again, it's a nevre ending cycle.)
So it's not like I want to be first in line. It's just that whomsoever would benefit the most at any particualr time, he/she should get the hd.

Zell are you two giving jamin DVD's or is he gonna have your stuff on HDD?

Also jamin, how are you gonna give Zell and hexXie the stuff they want? Put it on your HDD and then burn them DVD's?

Just thinking 'coz if so then I can help burning the DVD's else you gonna get abused at the meet.

So is it just me and Anakha who will have USB drives? The rest of you will all bring their pc's?

jamin you cool with this? If not then I will bring mine also. Though I really prefer that be a last resort.

Jamin will have the stuff on HDD...
Thats why people need to let me know what they want as soon as possible so I can put it on my HDD already.

And I dunno how Jamin wants to do it, but I wouldn't mind getting all of your stuff from jamin on HDD at a later stage (sunday... lolz).
But if you wanna burn your anime to dvd Rayne, I can send over blanks with jamin to replace yours?

I am not concerned about the costs of DVD's. I have a few spindels in reserve as well so don't worry about that. I have enough. So for those who want I don't mind.

But if jamin will have your HDD then cool we'll just copy over.

hexXie wan't Chrno hey? I asume he can get the stuff from you after you got it from jamin? So we can just copy over his stuff to your HDD as well?

Btw Zell I'll let you know now...

I think me and jamin have the same version of Chrno Crusade. I was lloking for someone who downloaded one of the recent sets. I think those are done by one fansub group. Awesome series nonetheless.
