I want to know what speed it is rated at i.e. 500MHz. It is TC40 Memory (Samsung). Its currently running at 250MHz (effective 500MHz).

So, 40nS 1/X = 250mHz.
20nS Invert (1/X) = 500mHz.
Your 40nS chips are running at max rated speed

My 6600GT gets stock 3770+-
With a 3700+ @ 2.6Ghz and 1 Gig 2-2-2-5 Ram @ 237Mhz
So that system with a 3800+ should get arond the same maybe a bit less, Tiza..

7800 got 7800 on the test sysms so 7500+- should be ok

Pentium 4 2.8Ghz
4x256Mb Ram 400DDR
XFX 6800 Ultra
Drivers are 70 series & everything in pc is stock
The new 81.85 drivers take my score down by 200 points

He meant tge GTX gets over 7000 3dmarks but he didnt get it cause its too expensive!

With the latest drivers and my card is running at stock.....

dammod scored more. So a stock Gigabyte outperforms an overclocked BFG? WTF? I don't believe that.
@ WiKid @ Molean : Is your S-ATA drives also reported as additional IDE's in BIOS? Because mine is, revision 18, and there is no "Enhanced mode" option anywhere, only "Enabled" and "Disabled" and everything is enabled. I also used the latest revision 1.05 install disk.
3DMark05 list it as IDE as well...
Advise needed please...

Ja man I'm disappointed by this damn score!
I was expecting at least about 100-300 something odd more than dammod or very close to WiKid.
Or did you two oc?
Does someone mind telling me how to check my harddrive transfer speed so that I can ensure it's correct please?
I know it would be a little off-topic but I don't think I need to start a new thread just for one simple answer...
