I was just about to start a thread on this, luckily the search function worked for a change.

IcePick confirmed my thoughts that investments are pretty useless when a savings account gives me more interest and immediate access to the funds. I hope the financial gurus reply here to prove that theory wrong because I have searched for quite some time for the "perfect" investment, which turned out to be a savings account with 6% interest.
