jamin, how will you know if the new way might be better than the old way if you don't try? Is failing not when you stop trying? A wise man (cant remember and too busy to clusty) said that a failure is a man who has blundered but is not capable of cashing in on the experience.

I'm too lazy to try most new things.
When people make the effort to try and don't succeed - they vindicate my apathy (at least in my mind)
And no, failing is not when you stop trying. Failing and quitting are not the same thing. Failing is better - at least with failure you gave it 100%. By quitting you will never know if you could have done it.
